item mite emit time proposes an alternative way of registering memory through the inevitable decay of its surrounding matter, proposing the passing of time not as a linear concept but rather cyclical, layered and entangled. Reflecting on what we choose to preserve and what we allow to erode, the collection situates surfaces as sites of cultural and temporal inscription, reframing the seemingly insignificant traces that inhabit them as creatures with autonomy of their own.
